N-Care.NET incorporates the most advanced, industry standard technology for Internet security available today. When you logon to N-Care.NET using Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 6 or higher, SSL technology (Secure Socket Layer) encrypts your information using both data encryption and server authentication, securing your data for access only to registered Users within your organization. Your data and client Private Health Information (PHI) will be completely inaccessible to unauthorized users. N-Care.NET requires client-side certificates unique to your organization, and requires that each User in your organization logon with a unique user name and password that must be entered each time they access the site. N-Care.NET issues a session "cookie" only to record encrypted authentication information for the duration of a specific session. The cookie does not include either the username or password of the user. In addition, N-Care.NET uses advanced security methods utilizing dynamic data and encrypted session IDs.
